BREAKING Blackhawks Hire New Assistant Coach.
"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman made their second announcement of the day. Earlier today the team added a forward from overseas as they signed Anton Wedin and now they've added to their coaching staff. The team has hired Tomas Mitell as an assistant coach. The 38 year old has served as head coach of AIK Hockey for the last three years where he's lead them to a 64-27-13 record. His time at AIK included leading them to a franchise best 35-8-9 record last year. He's previously worked as an assistant for current Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Colliton at Mora IK in Sweden.OFFICIAL: Tomas Mitell has been named an assistant coach on Jeremy Colliton's staff!
