The Chicago Blackhawks had one of their players go under the knife recently.
Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports that Brandon Davidson underwent leg surgery on Tuesday and will miss at least the next 6-8 weeks.
Dr. Michael Terry told reporters that the surgery was a success and he should be able to return around January 9th at the earliest.
Davidson played through a PTO during training camp before eventually earning a year deal.
