Chicago Blackhawks complete major transaction with a teams top prospect
The Chicago Blackhawks have made a major signing today, with a 2023 Draft prospect.
Martin Misiak has signed a three-year ELC, with the Chicago Blackhawks and will expire during the 2026-2027 season.
The 19-year-old, Misiak skated in all 60 games with his OHL club, the Eerie Otters this season.
Misiak would finish fourth on the team in goals, with 23 and sixth on the team in points with 47.
The young forward would play four post-season games, posting 2 points( 1G, 1A) and would make an appearance professionally with the Rockford IceHogs against the Chicago Wolves, on April 21st.
Misiak, has also appeared in three IIHF World Championships in 2022, 2023, and 2024. He tallied four points in 11 games, with Team Slovakia. He would also help Slovakia win a Gold Medal in 2022 U18 Championships, scoring five points(1 G, 4 A) in five games.
Misiak was drafted during the 2nd round of the 2023 NHL Draft, 55th overall by the Blackhawks.
