Connor Bedard throws fit towards cameraman in his face
As Team Canada skated off from there 3-2 loss against the Swiss, Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard decided he had enough of the camera and blocked a cameraman trying to film his face.
It was certainly disappointing as many felt Canada was heading to the gold medal game but after some questionable calls by their head coach Andre Tourginy especially benching Bedard during the overtime session, it seemed the young phenom had had enough and wanted to just skate off the ice.
This tournament has not gone as well as Bedard had hoped as early in the first three games he was able to score three goals but shortly afterwards, his game went ice cold and he went long stretches without any points and at times any shots on goal.
His coach also made him the 13th forward at one point which caused Bedard to ignite his game and have two assists in the quarterfinals.
With the hope of landing a medal by the end of tomorrow, bedard will then focus his attention on the offseason and continue building his muscle and preparing for the next season that will arrive in October.
The bronze medal game will happen on Sunday May 26th and game time will be at 9:20 AM eastern.
