Former Blackhawks announcer Chris Vosters lands new major job bigger than the NHL
Today is August 28th, 2024 and we haven't heard much news from former Blackhawks announcer Chris Vosters.
Until now, as Vosters has revealed his newest role: he will be headed to Paris to call the Paralympics. Also, note he's letting the scruff grow, Lou Lamiorello wouldn't approve.
The event will feature 4,000 athletes worldwide, competing in 549 events for the ultimate prize, a gold medal.
You'd think Vosters was down and out after the Blackhawks had gotten rid of him, but maybe now he's found a sport he's suited to call with the Paralympics.
The 2024 Paris Paralympics will be on USA Networks, Peacock, and NBC.
The 2024 Paralympics will be his fourth assignment at the Olympics with NBC Universal.
Prior to 2024, he has covered wheelchair curling, and sled hockey in the last two Paralympics games.
