Major personal update issued by former Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price
Carey Price is on the Montreal Canadiens books, until the 2026 season. Despite that, he hasn't been on ice for the team, since the 2021-202 NHL season.
He is however making headlines again, and it's not what you'd expect.
Former Habs netminder Price has been given an honorary Doctorate, from the University of Northern British Columbia:
Price remains the winningest goalie in Canadiens history, with 361 wins. But hasn't been able to play on ice, due to an immobilizing knee injury.
