Patrick Kane's next NHL destination to break hearts of Chicago Blackhawks fans
NHL journalist reveals it all for free agent forward Patrick Kane
On July 1st, Patrick Kane will officially be contract free and headed to the open market.
Journalist Jason Pothier of SinBin Vegas has stated that he is reportedly an option for the Vegas Golden Knights. He states that they could recruit Kane for his powerplay abilities, which could be lethal paired with forward Jack Eichel.
Kane is coming off of hip surgery but has shown no signs of slowing down or wear and tear for being 35-years old. While many players similar to Kane's age set to retire, such as Marc-Andre Fleury and Joe Pavelski, Kane is still in search for another Stanley Cup.
Vegas has been one of the most controversial teams since entering the NHL with their skill of abusing the NHL's salary cap with a loophole which many call 'cheating', with Kane coming off hip surgery he could be one hit away from the long-term injury reserve list- something the Golden Knights are familiar with.
