Seattle Kraken's Goalie Phillip Grubauer lashes out on opponent Jason Zucker during game
Many hockey fans associate toughness around the net with legendary goaltenders such as Patrick Roy, Eddie Belfour, and Jordan Binnington. However, Philipp Grubauer, the goalie for the Seattle Kraken, has recently shown that he too is not to be messed with. In a recent game against the Nashville Predators, Grubauer demonstrated his physicality by confronting Jason Zucker, a newly acquired Predator, and making it clear that he was not welcome in his blue paint.
When Grubauer was signed as the starting goaltender for the Seattle Kraken, the team had hoped that he would be able to replicate the impressive numbers he had posted while playing for the Washington Capitals and the Colorado Avalanche. However, as the recent incident demonstrated, his patience is wearing thin, and his temper is boiling over. The Kraken lost the game 4-1, and they currently sit at 12th place in their conference, far from a playoff spot.
