Young hockey player dies in tragic cottage fire while three friends are injured

Horrible cottage fire in Prince Edwards Island takes the life of young hockey player
This past weekend in Prince Edward Island sadly took the life of a young hockey players, while three other of his teammates/friends are still dealing with injuries.
A news release from Cavendish police recalled the situation, that is very sad.
"Three people who escaped the fire were injured, one with serious injuries. Once the fire was extinguished by the fire departments, human remains of one person were discovered inside.
The scene was held by the RCMP and the investigation is ongoing."
Police did not release any names involved in the cottage fire, but sadly, the local team confirmed the passing of young Noah Latimer.
"Your Capstone Colts are absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Noah Latimer. In Noah's short time with the Colts he made an immediate impact on the organization, being the ultimate teammate and even received playoff MVP award for the Colts. Our thoughts and prayers are with Noah's family, teammates and friends at this very difficult time. Latsy will be sincerely missed by so many and always remembered,"
"We are absolutely heartbroken to hear about the tragic accident involving 4 of our alumni this past weekend resulting in the loss of one of our own.
Noah Latimer played parts of 2 seasons with the Bearcats in 2021/22 and 2022/23.
Rest easy 22, forever in our hearts."
