This will be the 2nd year of the rebuild and it will be good to add another piece to help Connor Bedard evolve, all the while helping to push the team into competition.
One player is the Philadelphia Flyers' own Joel Farabee, who before we even start may be available for the right price.
Both teams are at different points in their rebuild, but Farabee could yield a great return in prospect value, and future assets should Kyle decide to part with them.
Farabee could be a great top-six forward and could rejuvenate his career in Chicago, after being in Tortorella's doghouse off and on this season.
With Danny Briere jumpstarting the rebuild during the 2023 draft and putting a youth movement into play this season, Farabee could yield great assets that could help pad the team's prospect pipeline for the future.
The Blackhawks could absolutely package assets, including some top-end talent as we imagine Farabee can't be cheap.
Farabee played all 82 games this season, putting up 50 points( 22 G, 28 A), and had a career year.
The Flyers' needs are great, as they need a top center, and defense primarily, which the Blackhawks have plenty of prospects who could be moved if the cost is worth it.
