Oliver Moore, will be leaving the Blackhawks' organization and development camp to join Team USA.
The tournament is set to take place for July 26 to August 3rd in Plymouth Michigan, at Team USA's own Hockey Arena. Amongst the invites was one to Blackhawks prospect Oliver Moore, which he gladly accepted.
Moore was picked 19th overall by the Blackhawks in the 2023 NHL Draft. He had a strong first year at the University of Minnesota, scoring 9 goals and adding 24 assists over 39 games.
He is also one of ten players returning to the camp who helped the USA team win a gold medal last year.
The camp will also see 21 players who could be picked in the 2024 NHL Draft, pointing to more possible future talent for the Blackhawks and other teams.
This showcase is an important step for these young players, giving them a chance to show their skills before the World Junior Championship and offering scouts a peek at upcoming hockey stars, as well as Blackhawks fans an up-close look at their rising talent.
