Connor Bedard owes Patrick Kane a certain amount of respect, for Kane's legacy in Chicago.

One that Bedard himself could model himself after, as he won 3 Stanley Cups in Chicago. But instead of shaking his hand, or smashing him into the boards like he did last year.

we'll see what happens, last year I think I said that he had the bubble on, so he's lucky I didn't come back to him.hopefully I don't get hit by him this year. it was a pretty good hit up against the wall. I didn't know he had the physicality, so maybe maybe I let up a little bit.

With 15:24 in the 1st period in the Blackhawks and Red Wings game, Bedard saw fit to trip the Blackhawks legend.

While the "play" would lead to the Red Wings first man advantage of the night against the Hawks.

A situation, you don't want when the Red Wings have Dylan Larkin, Alex DeBrincat, Lucas Raymond, and Patrick Kane at their disposal.

While the Red Wings wouldn't score on the Hawks during the power-play, as the penalty kill looked great tonight, they'd strike soon after.

At 19:58 near the end of the 1st, Alex DeBrincat would score a goal at 5v5 against the Blackhawks.

DeBrincat would be the first former Blackhawk player to score tonight against his former squad.

Will Patrick Kane be the next? You can't help but think with his interview earlier today, Kane won't forget the hit from last season.

Patrick Kane has a +1, with 0 SOG tonight, and 7:22 TOI tonight after one period of play.

While Alex DeBrincat has 1 G, a +1 rating, 1 SOG, and 6:13 TOI tonight after one period of play as well.

The Blackhawks need to play a more disciplined game, including Bedard who needs to be more careful while backchecking and using his stick in defensive situations.
