Ex-Blackhawks Star Bullied Former Canucks Captain into buying him Lunch
Jason Strudwick would star on the Spittin' Chiclets Podcast on Wednesday on the topic of himself and Todd Bertuzzi.
In fact the two used to bully Vancouver Canucks captain Markus Naslund, not for fun, but to buy lunch instead.
Strudwick and Bertuzzi became fast friends and roomed together on the road. They would tend to end up next to Markus Naslund and they would bully him into buying lunch!
"Our rooms were always linked and we'd open the door and every time we'd get into a wrestling match. Bertuzzi and I probably outweighed him by about 150 pounds. So we go in there and we'd just stuff him under the bed. He'd be like 'Stop it stop it' and we were like you got to buy us lunch," Strudwick said.
While Markus Naslund was a legitimate Hall of Famer, it's hilarious that he'd end up buying these grinders and jokers lunch due to their unrelenting nature.
Strudwick himself only played 631 NHL games recording 53 points( 13 G, 40 A) in that time frame.
Don't mess with Uncle Todd I guess is the lesson.
