Was it clean? It depends upon who you talk to, but the fact Krebs blew up Kurashev led to an entire line brawl that would send three Blackhawks players to the penalty box, along with three Buffalo Sabres.

#29 Beck Malenstyn of the Buffalo Sabres would incur 2 minutes for roughing Phillip Kurashev tonight.
But not before the entire ice would be filled with Blackhawks and Sabres battling it out for each other's teammates.
The line brawl looked like something you would've seen in Slapshot, or Goon as players were throwing fists, and angling to gain dominance over one another on the ice.
For the Blackhawk's troubles Mikeheyev, Bertuzzi, and Kurashev would all serve time in the penalty box for engaging in the tilt as well.
It seems Kurashev is guilty of being hit. Is that how it works nowadays?
This isn't the only questionable call tonight, as Kozari missed a trip on Connor Bedard by J.J. Peterka, and this is another instance of genius officiating from the NHL.
Gary Bettman should be proud.
Even after all of the tussle tonight, Bedard and the Blackhawks failed to rally the team tonight against the Sabres, even with a 6-5 man advantage.
A valiant effort, but no win in the end.
4-2 Buffalo Sabre, thanks to a goal from Ryan McLeod assisted by the sometimes ghost Dylan Cozens.
