The Blackhawks release a controversial 'bar drinking program'
As part of the Blackhawks Bar Program, the team has coordinated with many bars to show games during the 2023-2024 NHL season.
In 2009, the Blackhawks Bar program launched to offer fans a consistent and unique NHL viewing experience.
On game nights, the program allows fans and establishments to view games at coordinated times, give away special merchandise, and encourage staff to wear Blackhawks merchandise.
The bars are there to create a buzz and a welcoming viewing experience as well.
In select establishments, regular season and playoff games will also be shown on their main TVs.
