Daniel Wirtz took over as the Blackhawks CEO just two years ago, could he be looking to cash out as the Blackhawks will severely decline value wise this upcoming season?
NHL.com States the following summary of Wirtz and his current ownership with the Blackhawks:
''Daniel "Danny" Wirtz, 44, took over as Chief Executive Officer for the Chicago Blackhawks on December 16, 2020 and serves as alternate Governor to the NHL. Prior to this role with the team, he had stints as Interim President of the Chicago Blackhawks and as Vice President. He has been an active advisor with the Blackhawks for the past decade, serves as the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation Vice Chairman and is a representative for the team with the United Center Joint Venture.''
The Chicago Blackhawks have recently left fans questioning, what the heck is happening September 14th!? The Blackhawks social media accounts posted everywhere possible that a new announcement will be taking place on September 14th, and they also added in a interesting photo that shows a Hawks legend..
That photo being a Hawks legend, could he be taking over the Hawks ownership?
I think this would be every Hawks fans dream honestly, to see #81, Hossa, take ownership- but one could only hope..
