As the Blackhawks' training camp unfolds, the fan base is beginning to witness Connor Bedard's exceptional skill level, hockey IQ, and overall professionalism in action. Almost all pundits believe that this player will soon become the new face of the NHL, and that certainly appears to be the case.
His skill was on full display during a scrimmage that took place during practice, where he executed an incredible backhanded saucer pass that connected perfectly.
Plays like these undoubtedly give Blackhawks fans hope that this chapter in the team's history will eventually lead to success on the playoff stage as Bedard and the ever-changing Blackhawks roster continue to improve with draft picks and trades under the guidance of General Manager Kyle Davidson.
Bedard also delivered an impressive performance during the game against the St. Louis Blues, contributing two assists, one of which set up the winning goal in front of the home crowd at the United Center.
The Blackhawks will be on the road for another preseason game against the Minnesota Wild, scheduled for September 30th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
