There are a couple of good players on the trade block the Hawks should go after. But there is a fine line between who the Hawks should go after and who the Hawks will go after.
News came out that the Chicago Blackhawks are interested in Edmonton Oilers Right Wing Jessie Puljuharvi. He is 24 years old, and will fit the 5 year rebuild mold because he is young, and hasn't white proved himself yet. Jessie was drafted 4th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Last season with Edmonton, he had 14 goals, 22 assists, having 36 points on the season. His contract would be cheap, and that's another thing Chicago is looking for.
He is rumored to stay with the Oilers this season, but the Blackhawks want to invite him to camp. The Hawks want Jessie, but they better act fast, because other teams want him too.
