Cale Makar is making NHL history and has done so in the Stanley Cup Finals, and not just aside anyone..
Aside from Bobby Orr, Cale Makar is the second defenseman to have the most points per game in NHL history.
Makar hasn't stopped there.. Cale Makar: The second defenseman in NHL history to score both a shorthanded goal and power-play goal in the same #StanleyCup� Final game.
Cale Makar scored his sixth and seventh goals of the 2022 #StanleyCup� Playoffs, surpassing Rob Blake (6 in 2001 & 2002) to establish the franchise record for the most by a defenseman in a single postseason in @Avalanche / Nordiques history.
With all these unbelievable stat lines, Makar is due to be confident and it truly showed in his post game, being asked «do you plan to celebrate?» He responded: «No» and walked off the media table.
