Connor Bedard Finally Breaks Silence on an Important Question
Chicago Blackhawks' 1st overall pick and rookie sensation, Connor Bedard, recently revealed the story behind his unique jersey number, 98.
When asked why he chose it, Bedard explained,
"I just picked it when I was like 6 years old, liked it, and no one had it at the time in the NHL, so I thought that was kind of cool. Yeah, I think when I was young, drew the higher number, and it stuck with me."
It's a simple yet meaningful choice that has become a part of Bedard's identity in the NHL.
