For NHLers the part that follows a Stanley Cup win, are the summer festivities that follow.
For Nathan MacKinnon, there were some prediscussed scenario's set in place. One in particular, being the storyline that emerged after Mack said that Sidney Crosby owes the fellow Maritimer a debt to get as drunk as the latter did, at the former's multiple Stanley Cup parties hosted in the pairs home province of Nova Scotia.
"I've been the drunkest guy at two of his, so he better be the drunkest guy at mine," enthused MacKinnon about tbe friendly wage between the Maritimers.
Well, Crosby certainly paid Mack back. The Penguins captain certainly enjoyed himself, according to his comments during an interview.
MacKinnon cited that Sid wasn't nearly as drunk as he was at Crosby's Stanley Cup parties.
"I'd say at least top 5," responded Crosby to the question on the 32 thoughts podcast, of how drunk he was. "At least. I mean he left 2 hours before I did. I think I shutdown the outhouse that night, so I mean what else can I do? I mean what does he want from me?"
Certainly the Canadian duo know how to celebrate, implementing a great balance of hard-work and hard partying celebrations.
