DeBrincat's asking price revealed
There have been rumors of Alex DeBrincat being on the trade block for some time now, but no concrete plans have been made yet.
The New York Islanders, who are struggling to make it to the playoffs, have been mentioned as a possible destination for DeBrincat, as the team's general manager, Lou Lamiorello, is looking to add a pure goal scorer to the lineup.

Despite the fact that the Islanders' roster is not as strong as it used to be, Lamiorello believes that the team is in win-now mode.
DeBrincat, a former 40 goal scorer who has expressed his desire to be traded out of Ottawa, has been linked to Detroit recently, but the Islanders have reportedly offered Noah Dobson plus for the young winger.
It remains to be seen whether the trade will happen, or how the news leaked, but sources suggest that Lamiorello is not willing to give up too much for DeBrincat.
