Former Chicago Blackhawk suffers gruesome injury: surgery incoming?
Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman is facing another setback as he's expected to be sidelined for four weeks due to a shoulder strain.
The injury occurred during a 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday. Adam Boqvist showcased his dedication to the game with an assist and a season-high 25 minutes and 13 seconds of ice time in that match.
This unfortunate incident marks Boqvist's fifth injury within the past year. The severity of the current shoulder strain raises concerns, with the possibility of requiring surgery if proper healing doesn't take place.
In the 13 games played this season, Boqvist has contributed three assists.
The recurring injuries are undoubtedly a challenge for the talented defenseman, and fans hope for a swift and complete recovery to see him back on the ice soon.
