Hockey is without a doubt the best sport in the world, unfortunately it's also one of the most dangerous sports, no matter how hard players try to be safe.
We would see some of that danger during a VHL hockey game when a 21 year old player named Yegor Bryzgalov was taken to hospital last night after suffering a head injury.
After taking the hit, Bryzgalov would appear to hit his head on the ice and in front of a silenced arena and Bryzgalov's teammates, he was taken off the ice by stretcher to local hospital.
