Kirby Dach poised to get revenge on the Blackhawks organization
As the summer offseason draws to a close, the Blackhawks have been hard at work, determined to enhance their team amidst an ongoing rebuilding phase.
Reflecting on this summer, the Blackhawks made notable strides, including a pivotal move during the 2022 Entry Draft. In an attention-grabbing trade, Kirby Dach was swapped to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for multiple draft picks.
Dach recently made a podcast appearance, where he shared his sentiments about returning to Chicago after his trade. His gesture towards the fanbase highlighted his fondness for the team, despite acknowledging his initial desire to remain a Hawk. Nonetheless, the decision was made to turn the page on that chapter.
Now a key player for the Montreal Canadiens, Dach plays a crucial role in their ongoing rebuilding efforts. In his debut season with the Canadiens, he participated in 58 games, tallying 38 points with 14 goals and 24 assists, while maintaining a -2 rating.
While his statistics might not dazzle, given the Canadiens' rebuilding phase, the spotlight is on Dach's potential. As the team advances, expectations are high for his performance to flourish.
