Max Domi Quickly Making a Name For Himself in Chicago (Video)
The Chicago Blackhawks and Kyle Davidson have made a lot of disappointing moves this off-season, the highlight of them all was trading away Alex DeBrincat to the Ottawa Senators for a underwhelming exchange. But was there any highlighted moves out of the Blackhawks acquisitions this off-season?
There was one, or two. The biggest is the signing of forward Max Domi, who's contract expires after this season. This is a smart move by Kyle Davidson as he signed Domi for a cheap price tag of $3 million, and many playoff teams will be interested in the energized forward come this years NHL trade deadline, where the Blackhawks should be able to get a decent return without giving anything up.
Domi follows the footsteps of his father Tie Domi, who loved to get under opposing players skin at any chance possible. Domi is already showing the similarities between his father and himself, as he stole a Minnesota Wilds players helmet in yesterdays preseason match, check it out below.
Domi has also been spending lots of time off-ice with Patrick Kane, but we all know what has happened to Kane's past good buddies- Alex DeBrincat and Artemi Panarin, they were all traded away!
