Meet the Blackhawks' 6'4" 250LB Beast Marcel Marcel
The Chicago Blackhawks' 2023 fifth-round pick, Marcel Marcel, has inked a one-year AHL contract with their affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs.
The exciting announcement came this morning, introducing the 19-year-old forward to the IceHogs roster. At 19, he is 6'4" and 250LBS BIG.
Marcel showcased his talent in North American hockey during his recent stint with the Gatineau Olympiques in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Across 52 games, the young player from Pilsen, Czechia, notched an impressive 14 goals and 18 assists, earning a remarkable +22 rating.
Additionally, Marcel proved his worth on the international stage, contributing significantly to his country's silver medal victory at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship, amassing two goals and four assists in seven games.
