Montreal Canadiens Fans Are Going Nuts Over Kirby Dach's First Preseason Goal & It's Very Underwhelming
Kirby Dach was drafted third overall and spent three years with the Chicago Blackhawks, for a third overall pick Dach did not meet the expecations that come along with being drafted so high, was it the managements fault for rushing him into the NHL, or is Dach just a underwhelming player? That will be decided this season, where he gets to play in a new jersey with the Montreal Canadiens, Dach was traded to Montreal this off-season in exchange for the 13th overall pick and some other goodies, a solid trade for the Blackhawks.
Since, Dach has gained plenty of hate from the french-based media and fan base coming out of Montreal based on his performances in the few preseason games he played.
Dach has finally scored his first goal with the Canadiens, and now fans are switching their hatred into loving Kirby Dach, in a overly loving way..
The goal was quite underwhelming, as he had a turnover right before, and there is no chance someone could miss a wide open net like that, but Congrats Dach on your first with the Habs, watch the goal below..
