Rangers Head Coach Couldn't Handle What Lafrenier Was Snorting
As a NHL player it must get quite tiring at times, as soon as you finish a two-hour time period game, you are going straight from the arena on to a plane for a lengthy flight and on your way to the next destination, which is a hotel. That next morning, usually teams hold a morning skate.
Sometimes players need that extra bit of shock to wake them up during games, and smelling salts is exactly what does the job.
