One Player Set to Enter NHL's Assistance Program to Better Himself
The NHL has a wonderful system in place that allows players to reach out and seek professional help when it is needed.
Michael McCarron, of the Predators, has decided to seek the help the NHL offers whenever it is necessary.
Now is not the time to speculate as to why McCarron has joined the program as players enter for a variety of reasons. It could be anything from substance abuse to other personal issues like depression, anxiety, dealing with the loss of a loved one, etc.
The NHL has this program in place so that the players know there are resources available to help them.
It is great to see McCarron utilizing the resources that are available to him.
