The less than ideal situation in Chicago is one that Patrick Kane has seemingly grown tired of, with the trade rumours that have littered the hockey media.
According to TSN's Frank Seravalli, it's believed Kane does not wish to remain with the club for a full-scale rebuild, as he wants to win another cup before retiring. Seravalli cited that Kane would prefer to be moved at the 2023 NHL trade deadline, rather than ahead of the season, to avoid any distractions.
Kanes name has garnered plenty of attention, with rumours energing that the Buffalo, New York., product has interest in the Oilers, Leafs, Rangers and his hometown Sabres.
Sportsnets Elliotte Friedman, was quoted on a recent 32 thoughts podcast saying that Kane will have a potential plan in action, and believes that Kane's decision could be incumbent upon what longtime teammate, Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews decides to do.
Tune-in to the NHL to see what happens, with a particular focus on the trade deadline, if Kane isn't moved prior to it.
