The Chicago Blackhawks are struggling in the goaltending category with the loss of goaltender Petr Mrazek, who suffered quite the injury and was deemed out week-to-week.

Just three minutes into last nights Blackhawks game where they face off against the New York Islanders, the Blackhawks goaltending situation got suddenly worse.

Goaltender Alex Stalock, the only healthy Blackhawks goaltender who is on contract right now aside from a prospect in the system, got completely ran over by a Islanders forward and left the game with a concussion, and did not return, nor did not practice this morning.

The collision was at a fast speed, and the Islanders player made direct contact to Alex Stalocks head.

He was given a 10 minute major and a game misconduct, and should be receiving a suspension for this hit, but the NHL player safety committee feels as if a $5,000 fine is fair.
