Selected by the Blackhawks in the first round (No. 30 overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, Hartman compiled 57 points (27 goals, 30 assists) in 141 regular-season games across four seasons. An Illinois native, Hartman's best season came in 2016-17 when he scored 19 goals and 31 points.
Hartman's third season as a Chicago Blackhawk was his breakout year, the Hawks traded him that same off-season, and now he has found a top line role with the Minnesota Wild after being traded around.
