The Blackhawks Announce First Day Back on The Ice
The Chicago Blackhawks have released that prospects will play the Minnesota Wild, in a tournament in Chicago following their Prospect development camp. The tournament is set to take place, from September 10-14, With the development camp set to start in July after the Draft.
The tournament gives a sneak preview of how the newest players hit the ice, and where they'll fit in as the season starts. For players like Alex Vlasic and Lukas Reichel, who have already made a name for themselves on the Rockford IceHogs and now the Chicago Blackhawks. It will be interesting to see if they will play in the camp, or if the new draft picks will fill their spot. As well as players like Colton Dach will play with the following an impressive season with the Kelowna Rockets after being drafted to wing drafted to the Blackhawks in the second round of 2021.
Nevertheless it has become apparent that the younger players are a main focus of the rebuild.
