According to NHL Inside Pagnotta, winger Conor Garland may be on the move, but nothing official has been announced.
One of the teams may retain a percentage of Garland's salary in the deal, and there may be three teams involved.
In the absence of Kirby Dach, the Canadiens will need to augment their lineup long-term.
If the team opts to retain salary, expect a pick or prospect to be added as compensation.
