The Worst NHL Playoff Goal Ever Scored And It's Going Viral

When you think of a defenceman, a quick defensive stick often comes to mind.

Well, every once in a while that good defensive stick, for some reason, can do quite the opposite.

Unfortunately for Islanders defenceman Sebastian Aho, not to be mistaken for Carolina Hurricanes all-star Sebastian Aho, swung for a knuckle-puck in an attempt to push it up into the neutral zone. For his efforts the puck took an odd carem and flipped over his goaltender's shoulder and into his net.

As if the Islanders needed to help the Canes potent offense. But it just goes to show when one team has puck luck, and the so called bounces, oddities like this occur.
