It's hard to believe just a few seasons ago forward Max Pacioretty was involved in one of the biggest trades since the Patrick Roy trade in Montreal. Pacioretty back in 2018 was the captain on the Montreal Canadiens when he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Pacioretty recently returned playing 4 games before being injured January 12th vs the Columbus Blue Jackets. After missing 4 games, Pacioretty returned tonight vs the Minnesota Wild.
However, in the 3rd period after playing the puck Pacioretty would fall down to the ice and was unable to get back up.
We don't know if Pacioretty re-injured his Achilles tendon or something else but it doesn't look good for Patches to say the least.
