Just when you thought the Arizona Coyotes story in the NHL was over, Gary Bettman makes strong push to bring the organization back to the NHL

Arizona Coyotes insider Craig Morgan shared information involving the Coyotes franchise, the one we have all seemed to forget about in such fast time- and their NHL return is now looming.

Morgan stated that Tom Galvin, a newly elected chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, stated at a board meeting on Monday that a committee is in the process of being form, the end goal? Bringing an NHL team back to the state of Arizona.

And throughout their long tenure in the NHL, can you think one of their biggest fans that crazily supported them, to a point where hockey fans didn't even understand? That's NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, who met with Tom Galvin, before Christmas, who's forming a committee to bring the Coyotes back.

The state of Arizona lost their NHL franchise as they were sold to Smith Entertainment Group, and moved to Salt Lake City, becoming the Utah Hockey Club (team name to be announced this summer).

The Coyotes organization had their fair share of controversy to not have an opportunity to make an NHL return, starting with missed payments of unpaid taxes, over $1.3 million to be exact.

So what's got Gary Bettman so passionate about this organization and fighting to save this downfalling organization since day one of their struggles? We will truly never know.

In reports of Morgan, a new franchise in Arizona must build it's own rink.

«The League hasn't abandoned this market or the fans,» Bettman stated in an interview back in April.

It seems the Coyotes are coming back, what are your thoughts?
