"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a roster move on Wednesday. The Blackhawks have officially signed forward Dominik Kubalik to a one year contract. KHL Reporter Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reported last week that he expected to see the signing announced soon. Kubalik was acquired in a January trade and lead the National League in Switzerland with 57 points in 50 games for HC Ambri-Piotta. The 23 year old is also coming off an impressive run at the IIHF World Championships where he registered six goals and six assists in 10 games for the Czech Republic.
Kubalik's 12 points shared third for the Czech Republic, trailing only Jakub Voracek and Michael Frolik. #Blackhawkshttps://t.co/JDekvxfyXE — Chicago Blackhawks (@NHLBlackhawks) May 29, 2019
