Member of the Blackhawks' historic Stanley Cup dynasty team returns
Derek Settlemyre and Riley Cote run the Nasty Knuckles podcast, a favorite among Philadelphia Flyers fans.
Kris Versteeg made a surprise return to the hockey scene, being away from the game for many years, he made a return on their podcast.
Kris Versteeg, who joined the Flyers in 2010 after winning the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks, was a guest on the show.
During his short time in Philadelphia, Versteeg had a humorous mix-up. Settlemyre, who was the equipment manager for the Flyers then, shared a funny story from those days.

Right after the National Anthem, Versteeg tried to get Settlemyre's attention but mistakenly called him "Dirty" instead of his nickname "Nasty."
Starting off in a new city can be tough, especially if you mix up names. But as Settlemyre and Versteeg likely shared laughs and stories over beers, it shows how friendships can start in unexpected ways.
