NHL fans call for TJ Oshie to be arrested following online cyberattack scam

Washington Capitals forward TJ Oshie is one of the most respectable players of todays day and age in the NHL, but he has been caught up in a 'stolen money' scheme, where the money was scammed through his personal X (formerly Twitter) account.

This is much unlike Oshie's character, just two weeks ago he participated in a charity softball game hosted by his former teammate, Karl Alzner.

Oshie took to the social media platform to write an apology, and state that he was hacked:

The apology sadly did not put the thousands of dollars that were scammed back into fans' pockets.

This is a tough lesson to many, on being careful with what you purchase online: even if it is from your favorite NHL stars.
