The Chicago Blackhawks' phenom Connor Bedard attempted a gutsy move when his team was down 2-3 on the scoreboard, and he is now facing backlash from fans which will not leave the 19-year old Calder winning forward alone.
Bedard attempted to score the 'Michigan' goal, much like he did last season against the St.Louis Blues which gained the attention of the entire hockey community.
The Blackhawks went on to lose the game 5-2, and fans believe the outcome could have been different if Bedard chose to make a pass, rather than attempting the Michigan.
Utah dominated the game, with Barrett Hayton, Dylan Guenther, Clayton Keller and Lawson Crouse all leading the way of offence for Utah.
While the Blackhawks had captain Nick Foligno and Teuvo Teravainen, who contributed a goal each, but it was not enough sadly.
Connor Bedard's hot second season start, tallying one assist in first game, seems much more confident according to himself.
Bedard stated his comfort level heading into year two was all brought by his surroundings in Chicago of year 1, which can be credited to the Blackhawks' general manager Kyle Davidson in making a good surrounding, and locker room presence.
