Frolik came over in a trade from Florida as a top-6 scoring forward but completely adapted his game to a shutdown role that the Blackhawks needed. He combined with Marcus Kruger to make one of the league's top penalty kill units in the 2012-13 Stanley Cup season and chipped in with a key penalty-shot goal in the Game 6 win over Detroit in the second round.
