A debate Over The Digital Board Ads In Chicago

The NHL and NHL's Commissioner Gary Bettman are always trying new ways to bring in more revenue.

One of those ideas is marketing. Putting ads on players Jerseys, helmets, ice, glass and of course the newly board ads that are digital.

One of the biggest debates is with the new digital ads, which many teams have along the boards.

Fans believe the Blackhawks have good boards and didn't need digital ones however, the popular website Hawky News would compliment the boards saying:

I thought at first the ad boards would bother me, but like most fans if you're focused on the game you won't even pay attention to the boards so do we really need all these digital ones?
