Winnipeg Jets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois has unveiled his new charity called the Pierre-Luc Dubois Foundation. The foundation focuses on supporting young hockey athletes in communities who don't have the means to play.
The foundation was previously called the Vincent Lecavalier Foundation, but was taken over by Dubois in 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the foundation was never able to begin operating properly. The first event will be a golf tournament and benefit dinner taking place on July 13th of this year.
Dubois is having a fantastic season and is on pace to shatter his career high point amount of 61. The inauguration of the foundation is the icing on the cake for Dubois and is the perfect way to cap off what should be a career year for the young forward.
