The Blackhawks, who are currently in a rebuilding phase, are expected to be sellers as the trade deadline approaches on March 8th.
The team has put the following three players on the block: Tyler Johnson, Nikita Zaitsev, and Jarred Tinordi. Talks could already be happening and could continue to get bigger.
Johnson could be a valuable third or fourth line center to a contending team, as he puts up decent points but has his defense flaws.
It really boils down to who they have on that third line and if they're willing to move whoever that may be. Zaitsev and Tinordi are big and can hit people, so having them on that third defensive pairing could be ideal to a contending team.
Especially Tinordi, he's a tough costumer.
