No matter what team you cheer for, one thing all hockey fans can agree on is we never like to see any players get injured. So it was definitely a cause for concern seeing Calgary Flames defenceman Chris Tanev being helped off the ice Monday night vs Montreal.
Incase you missed it during Monday night's clash between the Canadiens and Flames in Montreal Tanev would go down to block a Nick Suzuki blast catching him in the side of the ear.
The Calgary Flames would reveal a huge update on Tanev via their Twitter account, and it sounds to be very positive news.
"Following a visit to the hospital, all tests have shown negative and he has been cleared to travel with the team back to Calgary,» reported the team, via twitter, after the game. He will be reevaluated tomorrow."
