We are officially seven days away from September 28th, which marks the Blackhawks first day back on the ice, in a official NHL pre-season game which will take place against the Hawks rivalry, the Detroit Red Wings. The game will give Blackhawks fans a opportunity to see entirely new faces, from experienced signings like Max Domi to newcomers like Lukas Reichel and others.

A Chicago native, Chelios played more than nine seasons for the Blackhawks. He won the Norris Tropy twice in Chicago and guided the team to the Stanley Cup Final in 1992. Chelios ranks fourth among defenders in franchise history with 487 points.
