Controvery arises as Connor Bedard is billed 1 in Fantasy Drafts
With Fantasy Hockey leagues gearing up for another season, Yahoo, Fantrax, and other keeper leagues will hold drafts soon.
Each year, there are multiple media sites that offer expert drafting analysis.
The #1 fantasy draft pick in any league, ever, is generally regarded as Connor McDavid by NHL.com themselves.
1. Connor Bedard, F, CHI
2. Cale Makar, D, COL
3. Auston Matthews, F, TOR
4. Jack Hughes, F, NJD
5. Jake Oettinger, G, DAL
6. Jason Robertson, F, DAL
7. Brady Tkachuk, F, OTT
8. Matthew Tkachuk, F, FLA
9. Tim Stutzle, F, OTT
10. Adam Fox, D, NYR
Although Connor Bedard has never played in the NHL, he has been substituted for Connor McDavid this year. Cale Makar, winner of the Norris Trophy, is just below Bedard.
I can see how this is going to cause some issues with the 2023 fantasy hockey draft classes.
