Former Hawks forward out of commission with LBR.
Ryan Hartman, the former Chicago Blackhawks forward who was the unsung hero in double overtime, sustained a lower-body injury and was unable to go for Game 2.
The 28-year-old right winger did not find his groove in his career until he began to play with the Minnesota Wild. During his 2021-2022 campaign, he ended up playing all 82 games and he scored 34 goals, with 31 assists for 65 points and was a + 31 along with 95 penalty minutes.
However it seems Hartman has always been battling injuries, and now after sustaining this lower-body injury today this will certainly put a damper on the Wilds' offence.
Hartman is currently working off a $1.7 million contract per season and will be in his last year in 2023-2024 when he will become an unrestricted free agent.
The Stars and the Wild are battling in game two at the moment, and the Dallas Stars are up 4-1 with eight minutes left in the second.
